My decision to take the Pre-MBA stemmed from my intention to be more beneficial to the team members I was leading.

Why did you decide to take Pre-MBA?

My decision to take the Pre-MBA stemmed from my intention to be more beneficial to the team members I was leading. At that time, I felt the need to improve my leadership skills and enhance data analysis. While taking GLOBIS Pre-MBA courses, I realized that I lack the business skills as a professional, especially in this fast-paced, changing business environment. Working for more than 15 years in the mineral processing industry as a technical person, with a focus on project preparation and commissioning, start-up, and operation/process stabilization, limits my understanding of the whole business context. Although I have assumed various roles in the company and have been involved in or led projects, I still feel that I need to strengthen my knowledge foundation.

What drew you to the GLOBIS MBA?

GLOBIS has been instrumental to me and the Kokorozashi resonates with me. GLOBIS does not focus on having a title nor just having an MBA. I am curious to know my personal mission. I believe that each of us has a unique purpose, and with this, I believe in GLOBIS’ values of Kokorozashi and the GLOBIS community.

What are you looking forward to in your MBA at GLOBIS?

I have already applied the learnings from my Pre-MBA courses in my work and in my personal life. In my MBA journey at GLOBIS, I look forward to gaining more skills and experience that will boost my confidence and ability to be decisive, as well as enable me to leverage my technical know-how and experience in mineral processing. I would like to prepare myself to engage in more meaningful work. While gaining comprehensive skill set, I also aim to define and gain clarity on my personal mission.
