This is a free, in-person MBA trial class. To participate, please register through the form below. An email will be sent to your registered address that will contain two essay questions, please reply to our email with your essay answers in order to confirm your seat reservation. The deadline to submit your essays is on November 8, 12PM.
In this interactive session, you will be introduced to some of the key concepts and analytical methods for processing and interpreting data to make strategic business and marketing decisions.
Participants analyze corporate issues described in business cases and discuss solutions in an interactive learning environment.
This trial class will focus on examples from government and private industry. You will be asked to put yourself in the shoes of leadership and find solutions to challenges using quantitative analytical frameworks. To find out more, please join us!
In this “Business Analytics” Trial Class, you will:

This class introduces concepts from the GLOBIS MBA course “Business Analytics,” which covers the fundamentals of business administration.
Notes about this interactive in-person event
This event will be held live and in-person. Upon registering for the event, you will receive an email with instructions how you can reserve your seat to the event. You will need to answer 2 questions and reply to our email in order to confirm your seat reservation.
Some tips for the event:
- Arrive on time as the event will start promptly at 2PM (we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early).
- Writing materials will be provided at the venue. No need to bring your laptops.

Kelvin Song
GLOBIS Faculty
Kelvin Song is an educator and business director at GLOBIS University, where he currently leads the career and special programs team and the global technical support team for the English MBA program. He is also a member of the University’s executive committee. As a faculty member, he teaches courses in technology and analytics.
Prior to his current role, Kelvin served as head of the content office, working with top industry experts to incorporate the latest knowledge in digital technology and management into the MBA curriculum. He also served as the head of marketing and data analysis, where he led digital marketing initiatives. Kelvin joined GLOBIS in 2015 to help launch the Online MBA program.
Prior to joining GLOBIS, Kelvin spent more than 8 years at Toshiba Corporation, a Japanese conglomerate. He started his career as a software engineer and was the lead engineer for Toshiba PC’s flagship image-enhancement technology, Resolution+. Kelvin was also a key member of the team that developed 3D multimedia solutions, including the world’s first glassless 3D laptop, the Qosmio F750. After completing his MBA online, he moved into product planning and marketing as a product manager for Toshiba’s Canvio brand of storage products.
Kelvin holds a first-class honours bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Nanyang Technological University and an MBA from IE Business School, where he was awarded a place on the Dean’s List.
