Business Development Representative (Marketing)

Qualifications

  • High English Proficiency: Exceptional English skills in both speaking and writing for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional Experience: Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as B2B/B2C sales or recruitment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Business Development: Experience in business development at any scale is highly valued.
  • Critical Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
  • Flexibility: Availability for some weekday nights and Saturday events, with flexible start times and substitute days off.
  • Preferred Education: A business degree such as an MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Cultural Interest: An interest in Japanese businesses and culture is a plus.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy: Support the manager in developing marketing and communication strategies, identifying new lead acquisition opportunities, and nurturing existing lead pools.
  • Content Development: Create engaging, creative, and innovative content for social media posts, the corporate website, and sales materials to enlighten audiences and promote the company brands.
  • Market Trends: Monitor market trends and engage in social listening to find new opportunities.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales teams in Bangkok and Tokyo to understand the gaps in student recruitment KPIs and organizational goals.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing PPC campaigns, from strategic planning to implementation, performance monitoring, and reporting/analysis in collaboration with digital agencies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor keyword bids, budget caps, impression share, CPC, quality score, and other important account metrics with digital agencies.
  • KOL Marketing: Initiate and implement KOL marketing campaigns across social media platforms and leverage content from KOL on our platforms.
  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate with the Marketing team in Tokyo to align corporate brands and enhance the customer experience throughout their journey.
